@sue 1953 I'm having trouble getting Camilla's to grow. Our soil is hard and our rain fall is low. Roses love it so there must be a fair amount of clay. Any ideas? Our old house was the same but all clay.

@sue1953 would the method you told me about for the lemon work with other fruit trees. Thanks in advance.

@kittya camellias like acid soil I grow mine in a position where they get the morning sun and afternoon shade You could try camellia and azalea food which is available at most nurseries #advice

@linleys Yes I do. After the heat of Summer you can finally get into the garden and actually spend the entire day instead of just a couple of hours. Camellias are a favourite of mine. I am looking forward to the Japonica's next. 🌺🌸🌹
