#rose #newgrowth asking for #advice about this long shoot on my #bluerose The left hand side shows almost the full height which is about 7foot and the right hand side shows where this extension started at about the 4foot point A grub had chewed the tip off and this is what has occurred🐛. It will be pruning time soon and was wondering whether this would be a good cutting area to get another plant. @plantdoctor

It will naturally send out new growths from where this tip has been effectively pinched out. As it won't be flowering wood you could certainly have a go at taking some cuttings from here. Give it a good feed to promote some growth and I'm sure it will recover very well.
