It is a very striking shrub @bigemrg It was one of my mothers favourites so I made sure I grew one in my garden for her

Me too. Love them. Always nervous about trimming as I forget whether they bloom on old wood or new wood. Looking forward to seeing your snow balls @sue1953 I will see if I trimmed mine at the wrong time 😁😬

Will post pics later in the year covering the different stages @Shephes I have never worried or thought about trimming wrongly. If it grows where I don't want it to then chop it's gone 😂
