Just wanted to share todays disaster :( i spent so long and was absolutely perticular with the sterilization of my soil... and boasting yesterday about how well theyre growing.... only to accidentally drop a small pot of soil directly into the pot... i almost cried... as the sand was dry and compacted, i blew out most of the soil and the two lithops that you cant see in this picture, seem to be ok.... but the mix is now tainted and all my hard work is lost. #sadday #hopetheysurvive #almostcried
😞 sorry for this.
Oh no 😰😢😪😓😱
Oh you poor thing 😮😥😱
Awww. Lithops are pretty tough. I had lithops seedlings on my window sill and my neanderthal husband opened the window knocking them to the ground. I was able to replant them and they've been growing despite the abuse.
They're doing ok so far ✌✌

This one is in the same pot and the newly split one. Both are loving the conditions. #lithops
How many hours of sunlight do they get?
Roughly 3 hours filtered and about 2 hours direct. I know they arent supposed to be in full sun, but im trying to toughen them up, seems to be going ok so far 😂 @alovealoe

Poor bugger has has old dirt and water spilled on it this week... hasnt seemed to worry it at all.... infact it may have toughened it up a bit. Its looking great imo
