Dahlia 'Sunnyrose'

Dear friends, I m exploring gardening these days, this is my 33 day old dahlia grown from seed. My first plant very close to my heart. Could you please help me to know if it’s growing right? What’s the bulb on the top? Do I need to clip it off?

I have seen Dahlia baby plants, in fact, I had grown them from seeds last year. But, this doesn't looks like one. May be this is an unwanted wild plant. @sumedhasardana

@mehul22 yea, I agree, I m just a beginner, I think it was dahlia as I slowed dahlia seeds but unfortunately this seem to be a wild weed. Shall I remove it?

Yes, remove it. Grow something else. You can grow Dahlia from seeds in the month of september, to prepare them for Winters.

What can I do to speed up the growth? This is only seed out of 20 that germinated. Lucky guy... please help me make it thrive😇
