I planted my #perennial #onion #seedlings in the actual ground today after treating them TERRIBLY. I left them in the garage in dim light for a week or so. Hope I didn't starve them. 20 Nov 2023 #ifitwantstoliveitllfight #edible #ediblelandscaping

I up-potted the seedlings in one big chunk into deeper containers last weekend so their roots would have more room and they wouldn't dry out as fast. Probably killed half of them in the process, so I added a few more seeds and now they're peeking up! 11 Mar 2023 #gyo #seedlings #perennial #edible #wishmeluck

Tiny thin #perennial #onion #seedlings -- never grown a perennial from seed, so we'll see how this goes.... 22 Feb 2023 #edible #perrenial-onions #bunchingonions #springonion #springonions #gyo-springonions #101uses

I also grew these from seeds. The first year mine looked like tiny chives then started to take off the 2nd year. They survived outdoors in winter just fine even as seedlings.

@meskarune thanks! Really helpful info. My first time with these so it's helpful to know what to expect.

I'm trying out these #perennial #onions because supposedly deer and rabbits don't eat them. Plus yummy. 22 Feb 2023 #edible #perrenial-onions #bunchingonions #springonion #springonions #gyo-springonions
