@lovestogarden the really interesting thing is that I have Canadian wild ginger in the same pot and it's still just a stick. It's clear that the Canadian version is adapted to a much longer winter. My first real-life comparison of a native vs. non-native plant behavior. #learnsomethingneweveryday
