The person I got it from says it's perennial, so I'm going to give it a shot. I'll put a mound of wood chips on top of it to keep it nice and snug over the winter. @columbiariver

CARDOON! I got this at the #backyardfruitgrowers grafting workshop in late March and finally got it in the ground today. I've mens seen this plant in person before, only in photos. I was told that it's a "statement plant" with big leaves and a biennial purple flower. 13 Apr 2024 #newplantwhodis #byfg #cardoon
