Hubby and I took a road trip yesterday and drove up to Northern New Jersey to pick up this baby #grafted #persimmon that a person on Facebook gave me for free! This is a non-astringent asian persimmon variety called Matsumoto Wase, which is similar to a Jiro persimmon (the kind you can buy in grocery stores) but better acclimated to colder weather. 4 Feb 2024 #persimmon-matsumoto-wase #diospyros #non-astringent
