The other side is blooming now. I think I've decided to sprinkle the bulbs into the lawn in the back yard so they'll pop up next winter and I can see them from the kitchen window. They'll die back by the time it's time to mow. 3 Mar 2024 #snowdrops

Wandered around the yard yesterday and found some #snowdrops had escaped into the woods. I'm so delighted. I suspect they had an accomplice. 🐿 3 Mar 2024 #naturalised #naturalizingbulbs

WELL WELL WELL, and what do we have here? #mysterybulbs no longer! #snowdrops indeed! And I'd completely ignored them since the day I put them in the bucket. I hope I can remember to replant them in the woods later this spring after they've died back. 24 Feb 2024 #signsofspring

Another shot from last April and the #mysterybulbs in a trusty 5-gallon bucket.

This photo is from last April, when I went down the street to dig up some stinging nettle and transplant it back home. I'd noticed snowdrops blooming in that same area last February and meant to go dig up some of those too, but forgot. But then I found some #mysterybulbs when I dug up the nettles in April so I brought some home and tossed them in a pot to see what would happen. 23 Apr 2023
