A more-experienced grower friend of mine on Facebook suggested that my #lithops pots were too small, so I repotted them today. This guy arrived in the mail on 3 May 2018, and I was delighted to see he'd recovered well from shipping and had put out a bunch of new #roots six weeks later. #lithops-bromfieldii-mennellii-c44 #cactusspecialties

This guy has had about 11 days to acclimate into his new pot, so today they got their first soak. Drenched in rainwater and then bottom-watered the pot for 15 mins before allowing it to drain. He's so shiny and glossy -- he reminds me of a nude-color lipstick #lithops #livingstones #pumice #succulents #lithops-bromfieldii-mennellii-c44

Some before and after of root trimming. A lot of the roots dry out and die in transit, so to get them growing again I cut the dead parts off and expose some of the white root tissue. In another week or two after he's recovered a bit I'll give him a drink. #lithops-bromfieldii-mennellii-c44
