I've been keeping an eye on the #lithopsbromfieldiivsulphurea on the left because he's always been less plump and healthy than his brother on the right. Last night I put their clay pot into a pan of rainwater to give them a drink, and I forgot them overnight in the water. 😱 So far today they look ok, and the wrinkly guy looks a lot more plump. The healthier one looks greener and less yellow than before so hopefully the longer drink was good for them. If they don't explode in the next...

Qtip with isopropyl alcohol then gently rub them off. (I've never done if but that is what I would try)

Dehydration. These guys took a bare-rooted trip through the mail recently, so that definitely had something to do with it. The wrinkles kind of guide you when they need water. @pixierose

These guys have had about 11 days to acclimate into their new pot, so today they got their first soak. Why do you trim them?

The dead part doesn't do any good, and a little trim stimulates the roots to grow (or so I've been told). You don't need to do this routinely, just when potting new guys that have taken a trip through the mail. @Yollymac
