@Yollymac could be. Hallii was a guess. This one didn't come with a name, so I guessed based on some photos I saw on Facebook.

A tiiiiiny dark spot has appeared between the lobes. It might be the beginning of a split. (It also might be dirt.) The one thing I'm sure of is that the bulge on the side is the new leaves growing inside. This plant got severely etiolated this past year, so I'm hoping the new leaves will be able to grow up enough to burst through the old ones. I know I shouldn't make any decisions (such as whether to cut away the top of the old leaves to help the new ones get more light) until at least February

I'm keeping close watch on this #lithopshalliivhallii and the crack of light between the leaves. You can't tell from this picture, but this one is severely etiolated. The plant body extends about 1.5-2 inches below the surface of the soil, and it's stretched up another inch above it. @Yollymac if there's an edge I can grab and gently pull on, then yes. But I'm not going to unpot him to do it. I'll probably leave him alone for a few more weeks. The old skin isn't obstructing my view, so it's not bothering me like it does on other plants.
