Help me identify this plant I know it's a Choisya but what can I do to make it better ? I have had it 2yrs and it's never flowered😟 it's in a sunny sheltered spot.
They tend to like a nice rich free draining soil and prefer full sun but as this is a ternata it should tolerate partial shade. They don't particularly like it colder than -5 so depending where you are you may want to protect it during the winter especially if it's in a windy spot as wind and freezing temps won't do it any good. An annual mulch with well rotted compost or actually grass clippings in April will do it good. Hope this helps 👍
You better check susiwoo you haven't got vine weevil grubs eating the roots . I feed my Choiysa's with miracle grow every two weeks in the summer . Looks as if some of your leave's are being eaten by vine weevil actually .
Ok update on the choisya I have dug it up shook all the soil off the roots and checked for vine weevil - none evident thank heavens. So I've repotted in good compost and pruned back a bit and put it in the sick bay 🤕 lol it's the only patient at the present so let's see if that helps ! 🤔
