Sussanah

I bought a house in September 2020. A clean pallet for another 15 years as I’ve recently left my tropical garden in Brisbane and moved to Ipswich.

#dandelion why are these considered a weed here. I think they’re pretty. Might stop pulling them out if it won’t cause a disaster @brightcolours @Annettenoosa HNY to you both

People who like manicured lawns hate them. Others grow them for their medicinal qualities and as a good source. https://liveforless.com.au/edible-weeds/

“Attending a weed workshop is another great way to get to know which weed is which. If you are not sure of the identification of your weed, avoid eating it until you can find out with certainty.” https://liveforless.com.au/edible-weeds/

This is not a dandelion. Hieracium or hawk weed closely related to dandelion. Is considered invasive in many states & Canada. They came from Europe. There are native hawk weeds as well @Sussanah @tessafox-veling
