I was helping the police look for an elderly man with dementia who had been missing for 2 hrs. Police helicopter was flying over our neighbourhood with siren blaring and an alert to call 000 if he’s found. I went bush. Looked in every gully and under logs. Called out. The chopper had flown away so on my way back home I thought I’d try and get a pic of that twisting gum.

An elderly man with dementia went missing in our neighbourhood one Christmas. Sniffer dogs. 🐕 Helicopter. 🚁 Never found... So distressing for the family.
@brightcolours that’s sad Katie. My son gfs mother is a cop in Gympie. She said nearly every time they find them at water. Interesting hey.
They searched along the creeks... 😕
