Sussanah
Help me identify this plant pl. #plantid. I’ve had this for years and now is only flowering. I’m sure it was from a packet of seeds. Rockery or cottage. Can’t remember

Annettenoosa
Looks like 'Stock' (Matthiola incana)

Sussanah
@Annettenoosa thanks my dear. Knew you’d know😀

Sussanah
@Annettenoosa is it a perennial?

Annettenoosa
@Sussanah generally, it is a hardy annual.
#stockseedpods
Mine bloomed then disappeared! They smell so pretty tho, don't they?
@lesliecole49 I’ve not had them before. They came out of a rockery seed mix. 2 seasons it grew for. No idea what it was. The woody stem puzzled me. Thankfully I’ve gt friends to help now I’ll have plenty 😍
They are usually considered an annual, sometimes they reseed.
@lesliecole49 I thought that too. When do I collect seeds. Does pod go brown
Yes, they dry up then open quickly so keep your eye on them
@lesliecole49 will do
