@crabby58 - Most airplants are #monocarpic; meaning that they will die off after blooming. Sometimes it is referred to as a death flower. ☠

I did not realize that. That is sad. Seems unfair. I guess it expends all its energy too bloom and they have nothing left. 🤷‍♀️ @crabby58

I agree @hkyfvr I didn't know that untill I started reading and learning about them, some have babies before they die so you can rescue them and have more plants👍https://www.bhg.com/gardening/houseplants/care/grow-air-plants/
