With little knowledge, I'm slowly turning an acre field into a garden! This is my first gardening attempt, so there's such a lot to learn! 🐝🦋🌻

Can anyone help please, #advice my anemony has been in for 2 years but I'm lucky if I have couple of flowers on it. It is in rich, free draining soil slightly heavy perhaps. Should I move it?

Morning @SylviaDavies , I'd probably try putting a good amount of soil improver around the plant if your thinking the soil is maybe a bit heavy , also feed them regularly , say once a wk while there preparing to flower , hope this helps 😘

I have mine in the dampest part of my garden, mostly shaded (gets sun during lunchtime) and the bit with the heaviest clay and it thrives...🤔 @SylviaDavies

This border had horse manure when I set it up so even that doesn't seem to be helping! It gets some early sun but is shaded from the main heat. @rachelbrooks @Hut123456789 sorry can you give me an example of a good soil improver please 😃

Could you possibly move it to dappled shade or full sun , you can get soil improver from any garden centre & it's called soil improver , or put a good amount of John Innes no3 around the plant plus they do seem to prefer a slightly moist soil , really hope that helps @SylviaDavies 😘😘
