Help me identify this plant please #plantid does anyone recognise this? It's like building castles in the sky! This was a cutting after the strimmer went wild and I stuck it in the ground. Its done really well! Any ideas on when best to prune please?

Thanks @ianshaw. Just looked up the haastii is that ground cluster forming as this is about 2-3 ft high!? Do they come in different varieties? Apreciate your help thanks!
