I think it's a Japanese Cherry
Looks like a Rhododendron

@Pebs74 it dies a bit but as it's a tree, I was guessing that it must them be some form of a fruit tree?
Rhododendron means rose tree and they also come on trees
@Pebs74 the leaves look different, softer ? ?
@SylviaDavies not all Rhodys have the same kind of leaf either.
