Here we go, let the colour begin! The first azalea to flower 30/3/17. #ukgardentags I wish this recorded dates of entries to compare year on year.
I agree Sylvia, I was looking back for something the other day and all you get is the season . It would be a really helpful addition @ukgardentags 😊😊😊
Getting there @gjones 🤗

My pieris is showing signs of waking up at long last!
Says azalea at top of pic.
@SylviaDavies did it not have the white flowers? Mine is covered this year after taking a big hit from frost last may
@sanklune not yet! So envious of the 🌞 colours I've seen on other people's pieris! Mine are just starting to look as if there is new growth! Not convinced this one likes it in the large tub I put it in! I have three but none of them are looking spectacular tho be honest! Yet anyway!
Do you feed with special food for acid lovers? Will perk it up no end
Thanks @joanboston will feed today and see if that helps! I think I did when I fed azaleas etc but may need more! Thanks

Not going to attempt to name the particular varieties as I will never get there! Looking forward to hopefully having some colour this year from my relatively young stock!
It's azalea time of year! 💟💖 I must go to Bodnant gardens this next week as it's a must this time of year as the rhodedendrons and azaleas provide a rainbow of colours for as far as the eye can see! How did you get on @chester14?
We go to Bodnant tomorrow, hope to get there about 11/30 it will be a great day @sylviadavies
Ah yes forgot you said you were going Thursday! I'm wishing my days away! Totally confused as I'm off this week! Plenty of photos please! You'll need even more time now to explore the extra 20 acres 😉 you're welcome to call here and give me some advice on your way home! 😃 @Chester14
I love them but unfortunately when I started converting the field I put this in a border where it is too far from the house to be seen. I've since started moving them closer to the house so I can admire their beauty. I think this one will be next.
