Love these berries as they remind me of Christmas 😃
I've got one of these and didnt know what it was - you learn something new every day😀
Just hoping I've got it right then @karen13 😃
You have 👍🏼 @SylviaDavies I do love this - had it in my old garden and it spread everywhere!
I need a quick growing hedge and this seems to be growing well! Once established I can start moulding to the shape I want. 😃 @rachelbrooks
That'll do it! 👍🏼😀
Adding this beauty to my #wishlist 😄
@SikoMa it us beautiful and hardy too. I've tried one cutting in a dry spot and it's doing well fair play! Apparently you need to keep on top of it otherwise it apparently will take over! Both of mine are from a cutting and they have grown so much! Good luck with it! 😃
Thank you @SylviaDavies. We have pretty harsh winters here. I think I'd like to give this one a try. It is beautiful.
That's lovely, sticking it on the wish list. Thanks for sharing @SylviaDavies 😁💮🌿
@SylviaDavies . I have the same tree in the corner of my garden.... had it for 13 years ..... still love it & so do all the bees🐝
Lovely shrub and I'm always on the lookout for plants with berries to help the birds.

Gorgeous! 😍
@franshineb these were the flowers, but that was a while back now! 😃
I do love these! 😃
Aaaww! Love it😍 @SylviaDavies
This grows everywhere in my garden. It's nice with the white berries but a little spreader too...
Are yours in full sun? Mine didn't bloom this year in part shade 😥 @richard.spicer.7906
@richard.spicer.7906 @franshinegee I put this under an oak tree where the ground is really dry and everything else I have tried struggles, and fair play this is coming on slowly. I would like a hedge under this massive oak but it's a job to get anything to establish there! It does get sun though. When I originally took a cutting I put it in complete shade, again in another dry part of the garden and it came on well there too with blooms. Sorry not sure @franshinegee what may be the problem.
@franshinegee I've one bush in full sun - flowers are very tiny and to be honest I never notice this bush until the berries arrive as the flowers pass by without noticing. I've also found the birds don't really touch these particular berries that much and mine tends to just shed them all over the border 😕. The others bushes are scattered elsewhere but all growing in full shade, also quite dry under a large cherry tree. So, as @SylviaDavies also said I think the key is a fairly dry patch. 👍🏼
Huh, maybe mine just needs to mature. It's in dry, part shade and I think it's a native to our area (I'm only wanting flowers because the berries follow btw ;) thank you for the reply! - sounds like I have the right conditions (hopefully) and maybe just need to be patient. @SylviaDavies & Rich
