Cistus x pulverulentus 'Sunset'

Plant not looking very happy, lots of leaves further down stems just die and fall off hence the bottom of all the stems are bare, would be grateful of any advice please, and also advice on pruning?

Hmm! Have you got a good bit of greenery close to the main base?

This is what I'd be tempted to do (haven't had a problem like this though so it's not been tried. ) wait till end of flowers then cut right back but make sure there is a bit of greenery close to the main base as you can. Then give some fresh compost around and feed with Miracle Gro continuous plant food pellets.

Maybe also take a cutting and pot it up from a strong part.

Mines also in good sunlight and watered well.

Hi Diane76, thanks for your comments.. No Greenery close to the base at all.. All the green leaves are at the top, most of the leaves further down the stems turned brown and have fallen off 😔.. Have also tried miracle grow too but to no avail ..I'm contemplating taken it out of pot and planting in the garden instead 🤔
