Salvia leucantha 'Santa Barbara'

Just curious are the blooms sort of soft and smooth. I took a pic and put it on my profile pretty recently and they looked like those except they had white ones where each bloom started then the purple. There soo pretty

@terrimclaughlin yours is absolutley beautiful. I love the white purple flowers. BTW mine was started from seed. I could not collect seeds but the mother plant reseeded itself.

Do you think the one I took a pic of is the species you have??
