The Carolina geranium has started to flower. It is pretty but difficult to remove once it's established.

@columbiariver That's a good idea! I'm planning on getting rid of all the ground cover so that's a good opportunity to try it.

@Hawick1514 Thank you. It does look like it, although I didn't notice any flowering. The area is full of weeds, though, so that might have something to do with it.

Figured it out, it's Carolina geranium, also known as cranesbill. It can be invasive and weedy.
