The #jalapeno seedlings are starting to look a bit crowded. Think they'll need to go into more grown-up pots soon!

Was brighter than usual yesterday and these guys are looking a little yellow around the edges. Wonder if it's #sunburn ? #chilli #toomuchsun

First of the chillis!
I grew chillis a few years ago - used to keep them in my bedroom under a desk lamp for 12 hours a day.. never told my parents though 😖
Brilliant! 😎 How did they get on? Apparently they get more spicy with stress?
I kept one which produced a lot of chillis and gave my sisters one each which they killed.. took me probably 4 months to get them to a decent size and they killed them within a few weeks. Not sure about the stress, though I prob caused them stress at some point!
So much for indoor jobs... The storm flattened my improvised cloche (in case you can't tell from the photo it basically inverted itself and turned into a paddling pool 😭 ) so we were out in the rain today making version 2.0
