The #dogwood cuttings have actually rooted despite me doing nothing but put them in a vase of water 😁 looks like I'll have 12 plants from pieces I found in the car park!

Happy days! I cut my #dogwood whips back a few weeks ago, stuck the cuttings into the soil beside them, and the cuttings are sprouting away quite happily! Amazing

Seems that this has been growing in the car park at work for years and I never noticed! They were pruning it this week so I took some twigs that were dropped, will have a bash at rooting them.
Most of the #dogwood #cuttings are still going strong, so I potted them up yesterday. At least half have some good roots going at this stage. A couple went a bit limp after being moved, but hopefully a good few will make it 😊 #hedge #transplant
