So I thought this was a pot of #aquilegia that my mum was looking after for me, but now that I see the leaves it clearly isn't. Any ideas? #plantid
Apparently it grows a long stem with purple flowers on it if that's any clue...
Best match I've found so far is #penstemon but will need to wait for flowers to confirm...

After buying a pack of seeds I realised this is almost certainly salvia farinacea of some description
these are. Portulaca grandiflora. they survive good in hot weather...lovely flowers.
