Happy Thanksgiving 😊 We'd like to say a huge thank you to all our volunteers who make our growing community such a great place to learn and share the joy of gardening. We'd also like to say an extra special thanks to @usgardentags and @ausgardentags which are run by two wonderful volunteers who create the challenges which so many of us enjoy taking part in 😊🙏🌸🌻🌺🌼🏵️💐

I am new to this app and to gardening. I posted a picture of a perennial shrub that grows almost tropical looking flowers. I let the garden go and neglected it. I want to revive it. So far I have raked up the weeds and leaves. The gardening department at menards suggested an all purpose fertilizer because the dirt is very dry and hard and cracking. I tilled the soil just a little and spread the fertilizer on top of the dirt. Should i dig a deeper hole for the fertilizer and what else can I
