The one is so big and the other small. They came at the same time but I bet it was where they were in my yard. I’ve moved them in my bedroom with 2 grow lights!!
Here’s two pics of the ginger plants from @treefrog44. They grow a bit slower but I’m hoping they’ll do well. I think I should of put them in a bit more sun. They’ve gotten alittle cold we’ve had a few days of 50F so their inside. What do u think@novicegardenlover
Hi Terri. Fix your last comment so that. @novicegardenlover will get your message.
@kaporyash. I’m excited about these we don’t have them here this one was a cutting sent to me from a friend on Florida she also sent me an angel trumpet plant. I’m hoping they’ll bloom next year but I brought them in for sage keeping 🤗😊💕
@kimguy how do u fix it??
I just saw your comment Terri. I already notified novicegardenlover when I told you to fix it. Lol.

Doing good! Hopefully will bloom next year!!
Thxs @treefrog44👍🏻👍🏻🤗😊💕
I forgot @novice gardenlover does this one seem to have alittle different foliage?? I can’t wait for it to bloom 😊💕
Yes it does seem different to the crepe ginger. Crepe has red stalk and longer leaves. This is shaped more like mine. Hopefully we'll both see blooms next year.

It's a red ginger plant
Wanted to show this to angelicsoul11. Hope someone can let her know. My mother lives outside Fort Lauderdale FL this was her neighbor's I took a cutting but I don't know if it'll make it
@angelicsoul11 see comment above :)
Thank you! That's the same plant!
Eww 💕💕 can I get a cutting of this plz?🤗🤗
My “Red Ginger” plant! Gifted from @treefrog44 as a small rooted cutting! Hasn’t bloomed I’m guessing it needs to be in the ground?? Any suggestions 😊💕
Is it produces ginger??
From what I have read, they need bright light, but not full afternoon sun, feed monthly, and moist soil, not soggy wet, then again, some take a few years to get established... they look heathly!
@treefrog44. Well from what you said I I’ve read it get sun til about 1-2 in the afternoon and I keep it moist. I just thought the color of the foilage was alittle light green but I’m hoping next year it’ll bloom. I do feed it I’m excited but happy it’s doing good I have another pot of them too. All from the ones you gave me. Thxs again 🤗🤗💕😊💕
@jyotu No they don’t produce ginger. I’ve heard that if you buy a piece of ginger at the market you can cut it and plant it so u get more ginger but this blooms a really cool looking red ball or wax looking bloom. Probably better to google images of the red ginger plant. It’s a tropical plant. 😊💕
Okay I'll check it & I've normal ginger 😂
