It's all very pleasant here with the beginning of spring. The fields are in bloom and me and my daughter have taken advantage of walking in the field to photograph animals and plants. I wish you a wonderful weekend. 🙂👍

@ShelleySnyder do these grow in your zone?😊💕 I already have about 5 from seed that are about a foot tall just wondering if they do well there. They bloom usually spring til now, 😊💕

@kez101uk Thxs this is one of the first plants I planted here. It’s native to Texas and some years there’s more blooms then leaves. Great plant. It’s called an “Esperanza” meaning “Hope”😊💕

Beautiful! Mine are trying to reach the sky! Shot up to about 10 ft, cut it back, its shooting up again...now waiting for blooms! Glad to see yours is doing great!

@treefrog Everything grows so much faster down there it’s so tropical I wasn’t sure about Esperanza!! I’m coming down there on Oct. 16 my mother is having some cardio problems I’ll at least b there for her 92nd b-day it’s just hard leaving everything on Frank my dogs, fish, plants but he’s really good about it. This time I plan on getting more cuttings. Where could I maybe find some ginger plants would u have any idea?? Talk to u later😊💕

@terrimclaughlin At first glance I thought it was a Primrose. I looked again and noticed the tooth cut leaves. It’s really pretty, is it hardier than a primrose or is it delicate? 😊🙏🏼

The flowers I think are hardier. As far as tha whole plant the Esperanza as I call it some people call it a Tacoma stans I believe it’s a real hardy plant I believe the primrose too is very hardly for them to just keep coming back and down here they grow wild. Where do you live?? How’s your back?? I just had an X-ray in my neck and found out that now of have those bad discs in my lower back and osteoporosis in C1-C5 You had surgery didn’t you??😊💕
