I kept mine in a pot until I forgot to water it and it died! 😕😏 grew well

I’d put one in a pot and the other in the ground. It makes a good groundcover.

Yes, you can grow it in a hanging basket. But you’ll have to pay more attention to the watering as hanging baskets dry out more quickly than pots.
