Catkins on a Walnut tree. These trees are locally known as Bannuts.

I would love a walnut tree but too cold up here in Scotland. Do you get many nuts off the tree @tiggrx

@bluecondo yes they are English Walnuts. They are called Bannuts in this area.

The farm I go to has one it's over 100 years old now. It's still producing. Will get a pic so u can see this one. Good eating👍🙌🌳🍽
So Jealous it's to cold this far north to grow bannuts where I am, my husband loves 💕them pickled we are trying hazelnuts instead but no luck so far
