I was in a state of respair when Eileen @emch said she would share her #seaonion with me a few weeks ago and didn't even need anything in return, not much for buying things on the internet, I've been searching for this gem to add to my collection for years! An air potato is a climber/rambler from the yam family, kinda similar but not the same plant Laura 😊 @columbiariver

@columbiariver you can see the main plant I broke this bulb off of under my #weirdness tag. Maybe the plants are the same, but IDK what an air potato even is!

@tinaaune I know irises aren't picky but what about the other outdoor plants? Should I pot them and keep them indoors for the winter or what? I am stunned to own the namesake plant of Chicago!!!

If u can still work your ground I would put the allium in, I was hoping that your soil wasn't totally froze and rock hard by now, the seeds u can sow outside now and let them sprout in spring or put them back in freezer for spring sowing indoors 😊 @emch

I figure I can still plant the bulbs. The seeds will require more thought.
