My last #hardyhibiscus bloom of the season , and also the first pic of #perfectstormhibiscus this season, sheesh 🥴 I haven't been doing a very good job posting lately, I'll try to be better... getting cold now

Here's a major tip for northern gardeners zone 3/4. It is now June 17th and this hardy hibiscus has just barely poked through, many will cultivate and replant the area of the hibiscus before it has a chance to emerge resulting in the destruction of a perfectly good but very slow plant. Be patient 👍⏳🌞

I keep mine potted in protected spot up 18 inches now. Have lost many in ground

Ok I lied, there will be 1 more bloom 😄
