Morning all, feeling thankful after #doris just need to try and fix my eucalyptus who bore the brunt yesterday- hoping for not total root damage 😳 and bird table even tho had bricks weighting it down. It could have been so much worse... weekend is here 😀
Good luck with it!
Morning Franca 👍👍
You did well Franca. Eucalyptus are shallow rooting so I would like if you staked it it should resettle.
Morning Franca! Glad you survived the day of Doris! 😀
Definitely Thankful @jendren I plan to stake but think that having no stake may have helped yesterday- I think it would have just snapped at the stake point with those scary gusts , have a good day 🙂
Hope it's ok we were lucky which is surprising as we are quite exposed in Kings Delph, although I haven't done a full look round the garden yet 😊
Good point @titchyfra
Tough as old boots - eucalyptus - it'll survive x
That's good to hear @angiecrazycatlady ! Hopefully when you do walk round all is ok. @ellenmarygardening I've re planted the eucalyptus and it seems ok @clipperty (nothing broken) done my best but my it's sure grown since I got it - wasn't sure I'd be able to do on my own 😂will post pic tomorrow 🤞 as it was dark by the time I'd done outside ☺️
Very good info on staking Eucalypts here: http://grafton-nursery.co.uk/how-to-plant-a-eucalyptus.htm

Couldn't see any @sylviadavies which was lucky. I did wonder if I would @rachelbrooks when I got in there to do it 😂 . Thanks Julie @juliesgarden
Well done! 💪🏼
