2nd year in and seems to be settling in 👏

Lovely! Do you prune yours @titchyfra ?

Hi @londongardener I haven't needed to at the moment as its so young and I'm wanting it to cover an area to the right of the picture (you can't see) but if you look closely there are some long shoots to the left reaching the top of the wall and so I'll need to keep an eye on these lol. Do you? Any advice??

Hi @titchyfra I was told to prune hard in autumn, now mine is about half the size of yours, it's also 2 years old 🤔

Honeysuckle does not respond well to hard pruning. Once it covers the allotted space you can prune the long non flowering tendrils but you wouldn't normally prune hard wood unless it was overgrown and needed rejuvenating 👍 hope this helps? A great variety btw

Thanks @igrowhort @londongardener please see above re pruning honeysuckle, sure yours will catch up so its just pruning to maintain in its space but otherwise leave it to do its thing!

Thank you both @titchyfra @igrowhort , will leave it to do its thing from now on. Mine is a Goldflame
