Eragrostis Trichodes

This is my only project so far this year. I moved this bed with grasses and added some upright sleepers which you can just about see as I planted stipa tenuissima in front of them. The idea of the sleepers is to support the 4 sand grasses in winter - there will be wires going across between the sleepers.

Indeed! @sharonhayden although have ended up with quite a narrow bed. The sand grass had beautiful flower heads that survived the winter but got flattened. Remains to be seen if my cunning plan works.🤞 🤞

Other plants in there, apart from the grasses, are verbena rigidia ‘Santos Purple’, verbena Bonn. Lollipop and Salvia Deep Blue

That grass is gorgeous 😍 have a similar one, cloud grass, which looks like this in the sun. Beautiful 🤩
