#exited 😍 last autumn I planted alliums for first time and here they are pushing up! #advice #allium after flowering,do you leave in situ or lift? Thanks!

I leave mine in situ, Mariana. They’re hardy and will flower again next year. @totallygarden

Thank you @jacaranda , just heard that the giganteum variety rots more easily, hoping they won’t and that will come back. Btw- love your nickname ‘jacaranda’ is my hometown flower, is full of those trees where I come from ❤️

Where are you from? @totallygarden

@jacaranda I am from Tucuman, Argentina

But lived in UK for 16 years!

We lived in Zambia & Zimbabwe for a while which is where we first saw Jacaranda trees so when we moved here and had it find a name for the house it seemed the perfect choice! I bet you miss the gorgeous mauve flowers of these lovely trees @totallygarden
She is out!! #allium #fridayflower #purpleflowers #giganteum
