Help me identify this plant #plantid @brightcolours here are other close ups, the big seed/pod breaks in half the little seeds are the true seeds

Hi Theresa, I have the Barleria repens variety, which has very similar flowers (albeit pink), similar seedpods (not thorny).. however, that plant is a creeper used as ground cover. So i looked up if the genus had any white flowered cousins, and I believe this to be Barleria elegans.

No worries Theresa, glad to help 😊 like I said in my other comment, there are over 2 dozen similar-looking species in India alone. Barleria cristata was one of them. That's probably your answer :) The barleria I photographed was annoyingly thorny haha
