I moved to California in 1976, it was the first time I had ever seen a bottlebrush, and fell in love with them! Love everything about Cali! Always had hoped to move back someday!

Excited to sew new growth!

Started this bottlebrush shrub from seed, interesting find when I collected the seed, had to figure out how to heat release the seed. I had left it outside on the patio in a paper bag, guess the amount of heat outside was enough to explode the seeds from the pods! How lucky can a girl get!
