#popcorncassia had to cut back this 12ft tree! No cold weather this winter to put it in check. Starting to regrow 😉

@ShelleySnyder @jeatacake they grow fast! So in colder zones they can be grown as an annual, save seeds or overwinter in a warm place. Start seeds early to get a head start :)

@karmey I started mine from seed, in May 2016 within 6 months it started blooming, it is now about 10 ft tall I would call it a tree, it has a small single trunk with smaller branches across the top, looks great when several are planted together. I planted candle trees and another cassia shrub, that are in the host family, but this butterfly goes to the popcorn cassia all the time!

That's how most of my things are grown! My husband is amazed at all the things I grow, he see's how small a seed is and says " a plant grows from that?" Most people have no clue! Lol I am happy to show them! :)

Really, that's neat! Does it make you crave popcorn? It's very lovely. How much land do you have to work with? You have posted several plants already, so I wondered if you have a large place. And I have a memory like a sieve so please don't think l'm not really interested if I (or when I) forget something you already told me. I really do have medically induced memory problems. 😔

Yep, and a movie lol! Just have a good size back yard :) green thumb, and passion to grow :)
