Thank you! 💕 @edelweiss001 there are times when I feel like the bad bugs and weeds are winning! But to keep the good ecosystem in place chemicals are a not used in my garden... I'm learning what plants to use more, that have natural defenses 😀

I always appreciate a person who doesn't take the easy way out. We have been using a garlic concentrate and mix it with water. I boil a few bulbs of garlic for 20min and then blitz it into a concentrate. I put 100ml roughly in the watering cans(13.5ltrs) and do as you normally do. It works @treefrog44 and totally organic. Good luck.

@edelweiss001 that is a great mix 😉 for the milkweed bugs I add hot peppers, knocks them right out! For spidermites, and aphids I add castile soap.

@treefrog44 are you talking about chilly peppers Theresa, and if so what strength.

@edelweiss001 I grow jalapeño and habenero peppers. I take the peppers and puree them in my food processor, we use them in some recipes, I set a jar aside to add to my spray. I use cheesecloth to separate the juice. Not sure if chili peppers are hot enough, I have seen recipes that call for Tabasco sauce, or cayenne pepper. Those are usually found in the grocery store. I can send some seeds along from my peppers 😉

@treefrog44 I forgot to say to you Theresa that we use #batguano as our feed. It is absolutely #outstanding and we also use #met52 for #vineweevil control. Its a #fungus that helps with the #vineweevilgrubs

Thanks for the info! 😉 @edelweiss001 my daughter has a rabbit, and we compost her manure along with coffee grounds, egg shells and kitchen scraps, add it to my beds in the spring. I will have to look around and see if there is a supplier for the bat guano 😒 don't think vine weevils are an issue here, but I will catalog that info just in case! Thanks again 😀
