@treefrog44 That could be a parasol mushroom edible but it could be a False parasol poisonous ( Chlorophyllum molybdites ). Not sure. I’m no expert. If you have not been eating this I would not chance it. Wish I could see the underneath and if the stem is hollow or solid. Beautiful fungi. Thanks for sharing it. Tom

I get these pretty ones in some of my orchid pots after rains.

@treefrog44 Next time you get cool mushroom picture like that try to get the underside also. And the stem if it is bulb shaped or not on the end and if stem is solid or hollow. It sure helps on identifying them. I’m not that good at it. I only eat a half dozen or so that I’m positive of. That is a gorgeous picture you took. See what @KariSamuel thinks on that one too. Tom

Just went on the first fungi hunt of season with the Orlando mushroom group at Katie’s landing at Wekiva this Sunday. It was great got to meet #greendeane of #eattheweeds .com and a bunch of new friends I highly recommend @treefrog44
