Pricking out and potting on #cosmos Xanthos
What do u mean pricking out? Still learning and I'm also growing these for the first time x
@bubblegum25 pricking out-gently lifting the seedling from the seed tray to repot in it's own pot for growing on. I'm using the green plastic "dibber" some use a pencil or chopstick. Hold the seedling by a seed leaf never the stem. A seed leaf is one of the first pair to grow-doesnt matter if it breaks as it will drop off later anyway. The next leaves are the 'true' leaves.
Thank you, first time with seeds and I have prob gone OTT! In fact there's no probably about it I have gone OTT! Think a cull is in order xx
You can never go OTT with seeds, plant sales are grateful for donations and swopping with friends is good too! Or an honesty table for charity outside your gate!
