This week

Well done ! Beautiful colour 🧡

@oldwoodentop this was it last September. Also from Halls of Heddon

Perfect @trees.p I do not have the patience or skill to #show. Well done to all who do.

@oldwoodentop it's only a single bloom. I would struggle finding 3 or more the same worth showing. As you say it takes skill to do that.

Amazing geometry!

What an awesome flower 🧡❤️💛

Tjats fab...

Oh dear, I've had rather too many g&t's and red wine🤭🙈.... that should've read 'Thats fab' 👍🏻😊

I don’t usually like the pompon ones but could certainly make an exception for this!

#repotted 3.4.19

Do you remember how long it took for them to sprout new growth? I potted up new dahlia tubers but I don't know how long before I see any signs of growth.

@ublaszko some come with eyes already showing. Others no sign of life until later. Try not to water until they start into growth. Most are lost by rotting/overwatering

I watered the first one but then remembered not to water the other three. The first one seems to be dry now so hopefully will be ok. Thank you ☺

@ublaszko This was 5 weeks ago with the first eye just sprouting to the right of the old stem. It depends on the variety-some start earlier than others. Heat from below is good. This was in a windowsill over a radiator.

That's good to know. Like time to wait for mine then 😥

@ublaszko patience will hopefully be rewarded 😁

😁😁
