Smallest tuber so far and this plant wasnt as prolific flowering as the others #dahlia

I have one dahlia with loads of flowers but when I dug it up it had small tuber. I wonder if it will flower next year.

@ublaszko some varieties do better than others. Maybe start it off next year and take cuttings from it?

I'm going to give it a go and start the tubers indoors next spring but I think I'll buy a new plant just in case. I only need a couple of dahlias so it's not too expensive to replace.

I just scrolled back. Do they all start off more yellow at first?
