This picture was this morning. #orchid #cattleya #lemindrop My momma passed away in September and I have had NO joy since then. As I was doing my #morning #plant #walk I was thinking of how she would always tell me “Don’t let anything or anyone steal your joy!” And then I saw this!

Losing someone so close is so very hard. I still miss my mom terribly but I now can smile when I see something that reminds me of her❤
We are #painting our sun porch and I had to move all my #plants. You have no idea what a chore that is! Anyway, I didn’t even know I had #buds on my #cattleya #orchid! #lemondrop

I think this was my #bestofnovember. My orchids summer on the sun porch but when we got ready to paint I put them outside. I was SO surprised to find buds and thrilled when they bloomed.
Beautiful slipper orchids! That yellow is so unusual.
