I'm doing that with everything. 😃 The only thing that is taking it's sweet ass time growing is the candelilla. But it's starting to plump up and it's not rotting so that's a plus. 😅 So yes to ur question.

I'm curious how the candelilla will do. Euphorbias are always so damn slow to root for me! 😒 I've never really water rooted succulents, unless sansevierias count. 😆

I've been experimenting with rooting cuttings in water for 5 or so years now. The Best Advice I can give. Is to use soil moist granules in a clear plastic cup. It props up the cutting and it supplies it with ample water. U have to soak the granules every week or so. It's like Orbeez which I've tried doesn't work as well.As long as u let ur cuttings callus over and supply it with bright light ur Golden. Works every time. @beatnikcrab

It's the same stuff you sent me wrapped up with the passion vine, right? I saved it for potential future use. Is it different from the vase filler gel that had a moment 15 or so yrs ago, or is it the same stuff? It looks and feels the same. I've tried to keep (permanently) pothos in it before, but it grew a bunch of algae and got SUPER gross. 😬 I wonder if this stuff has some kind of fungus/algae inhibitor in it or something to prevent it from getting swampy. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ur right it is the stuff I sent with the passion vine. No don't use that vase filler, It's garbo. I've tried that 2. It does fill the same though. If u don't rinse weekly it can/does grow algae. Simply soak it and rinse it once a week and u should b fine. Occasionally it can get gross. Simply spray with some bleach let it sit for a min. Then rinse and rinse again and it's clean. Leave the bleach too long it starts breaking down the granules. @beatnikcrab

Interesting! I'd totally be down to try it! There are certain plants that always give me issues with rooting, and it would be nice to have a more reliable method. I'd love some advice of you've got special instructions on using the stuff!
